How to preorder
JAL DUTYFREE Narita Airport duty-free online preorder is only for people who travel overseas from [Narita Airport Terminal 2].You can get your preordered products at JAL DUTYFREE [Narita Airport Terminal 2] after payment.
People who travel overseas from [Narita Airport Terminals 1 and 3] cannot use the store.
Flow of preorder
＜Online preorder＞
- 1. Add a product to the cart and go to the PROCEED TO ORDER page.
- 2. If you are using our service for the first time, register as a member or order without membership registration. If you are already a member, log in to My Page.
- 3. Enter your departure date, flight number, and information on delivery, such as a recipient, and go to the confirmation page.
- 4. Confirm the information you entered and select “Preorder.”
- 5. A confirmation e-mail will be sent to you. Print it out and give it to JAL DUTYFREE on the day of departure.
- ※If you cannot print it out, give the preorder number and your name.
＜Preorder by e-mail＞
1. Give us only the product you desire, departure date, flight number, destination, name, phone number, and recipient name (only when you are not the recipient) contact us from Inquiry Form. Your preorder number will be issued.
2. Give the preorder number and your name to JAL DUTYFREE on the day of departure.
Confirmation e-mail
After your preorder is complete, a confirmation e-mail will be sent to your registered e-mail address.
If you restrict incoming e-mails, change the setting.
Confirm the details of the preorder, such as the preorder number, in the e-mail.
Because the confirmation e-mail is your receipt, print and give it to the store.
If you have no printer, write down and give the store your preorder number.
We will check your preorder with your preorder number and ticket.
If you have multiple preorders, give all preorder numbers to us.
Deadline
Your preorder is accepted 2-30 days before your departure date.
When you are not the recipient
A field for the name of the recipient is provided.
Enter the recipient’s name and give a copy of the confirmation e-mail to the recipient.
Change and cancellation
Cancellation and change of preordered product
If you want to cancel or change your preordered product, contact us from Inquiry Form. You can also cancel or change at the store on the day of pickup.
If you fail to visit the store on the day of pickup, your preorder is cancelled.
Additional preorder
Preorder only an additional product. A new confirmation e-mail will be sent.You can preorder an additional product two days before departure.
Return and replacement
All sales are final. If a product is defective, give us the purchase date, Receipt No. (4 digits next to the date) and Transaction No. (4 digits at the bottom of the receipt), product name, defect, your name, and your contact phone number, contact us from Inquiry Form.

Delivery place
You receive your preordered product at JAL DUTYFREE at Narita Airport.
Give the receipt (confirmation e-mail) to the staff on the day of departure.

By law, duty-free products can be sold only to customers going overseas. Delivery to your home and delivery upon your return are not permitted.
The Customs Law stipulates sales of duty-free (bonded) products. The law includes a government directive “Sold duty-free (bonded) products shall be taken overseas by those leaving Japan.” Almost all products sold at duty-free stores have not been “imported” into Japan. They can be sold duty free by buying and taking them (shipped back) to other countries.
Payment
Payment is accepted only when a product is delivered over the counter.
The prices and specifications of posted products are subject to change without notice. (The prices on the preorder website are correct as of the display date.)

Foreign currencies (only US dollars, euros, Australian dollars, and Canadian dollar bills) are also available.

Changes in product prices and specifications
Product specifications and prices are subject to change without notice. Product prices listed are duty-free prices as of the date of order.If the price changes between the date of order and the date of your visit, the product will be sold at the price on the day of your visit, regardless of the price at the time of receipt of your reservation.
About display of product images
The color of the product may appear different from the actual color of the product depending on the manufacturer, model, screen settings, etc. of your computer monitor and cell phone. Please be sure to check the product before purchase.
Sale of Alcohol and Tobacco
Liquors and tobacco will not be sold to customers under the age of 20.Please understand that we may ask to show an ID which indicate the age.
About scope of tax exemption
The tax exemption range is set by each country and will be checked when entering.Please check the regulation of your destination before pre-order.
Store Closures and Opening Hours
We may inevitably close the store or shorten the hours of business at our discretion if store operation is or may be affected by weather conditions or other circumstances. In such a case, your preorder may be canceled. Please note that we offer no compensation for cancellation.

Restrictions on carry-on liquids
Direct flights
If you are taking a direct flight, liquor, cosmetics, and other liquids purchased at duty free shops after the security screening checkpoint can be taken on board the aircraft. If you are bringing liquids back to Japan that you purchased at duty free shops overseas, you must put them in your check-in baggage.
Transfer flights
Transfer passengers may encounter restrictions on carry-on liquids at the transferring airport. Even products purchased at duty free shops should be placed in a resealable plastic bag or sealed in Security Tamper-Evident Bags (STEBs) to take on board the aircraft or they may need to be relinquished at the transferring airport.
＜Liquids in excess of 100 ml (g) ＞
Liquids in excess of 100 ml (g) must be put into containers with a capacity of less than 100 ml (g). These should be placed in a transparent resealable plastic bag with a capacity of less than 1 liter and sufficient space between items.
Cautions
- ・The dimensions of the plastic bag should be no larger than 20 cm wide x 20 cm high.
- ・You cannot take on board containers of capacity 100 ml or larger even if the contents are less than 100 ml.
- ・You can take only one liquids bag per person, and be sure to leave sufficient space between items.
＜STEBs＞
An acronym for Security Tamper-Evident Bag.
A STEB is a special bag that, after it has been sealed, shows clearly if it has been opened.STEBs are intended to alleviate the need to relinquish liquids purchased at duty free shops in airports. The specifications of STEBs must comply with international rules.
Cautions
- ・Not all countries or regions have adopted STEBs. You may not be able to pass through some transfer checkpoints.
- ・If you open a STEBs before you pass through any transfer checkpoints, you will not be able to pass through the security checkpoint at the transfer airport.
